Head of the Office of Faculty Development, University of Mississippi Medical Center, July 2003 to July 2005.

Completely overhauled and revised first-year medical curriculum at University of Mississippi Medical Center (first such overhaul since its inception in 1953).  Courses were aligned so that topics (e.g. renal/urinary) were discussed within the pre-existing first-year courses (Gross Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Neuroscience and Genetics) all within the same period.  This involved coordinating over 800 hours of lecture and about 50 faculty teaching these courses.

Initiated campuswide "Second Thursday" lecture series on teaching methods and improvement

Began Blake Academy for Teaching Excellence

Sponsored/led National Board of Medical Examiners workshop on test question writing

Served as liason with the Carl G. Evers Society (a student-led honor society which evaluates teachers and courses).
